Creating Urban Forest

We began our journey with the Karnataka State Police Department in December  2021  by  planting  3000 saplings at a Police station situated in Gangapur, a small village in Kalburgi District. Using the scientific Miyawaki method, a sustainable mini-forest has been created inside the campus. To continue the mission, we wish to create forests and do Plantation drives in different regions in Karnataka. This will make the land greener and enrich the flora and fauna of the place.

To give a background, The Miyawaki Method invented by Japanese botanist and expert in plant ecology Dr Akira Miyawaki. Method is a unique and innovative Potential Natural Vegetation concept, proven to work worldwide, irrespective of soil and climatic conditions.
